What are the hardware/software specifications for using DealTrax? If you are reading this website, than you have all the software and hardware required to run Dealtrax. Dealtrax is optimized for Internet Explorer and a broadband internet connection. Dial-up users are also able to use the system, but may experience increased load-times for pictures and graphics.

Where is Dealtrax hosted? All data entered through dealtrax is stored on our secure servers at Rackspace Managed Hosting. This award winning company is widely recognized as the top in the field of network and data management.

How secure is my data? Infrastructure-wise, your data is stored behind many layers of locks, access controls, motion detection, biometric surveillance systems and other anti-intrusion methods. The network structure is protected behind "hardened" routers and firewalls. For more information on our use of Rackspace's security, click here.

Who can access my Dealtrax information? Within the secure Dealtrax environment, there are several different levels of access. The Office License allows admin-level access to all segments of your dealtrax information. The Agent License limits access of individual brokers within your office. They will only be able to edit their personal buyers and the listings that they have entered in. Your buyers and sellers will only be able to access information through their log-ins that you specifically allow them to see.

I have my own website. Can I still use Dealtrax? Yes. You will be able to generate the login code through your admin license. You may then place this code anywhere on your website. Dealtrax will automatically recognize who is logging in through your site, and will direct them to the proper page.

I don’t currently have a website. Can I still use Dealtrax? Yes. All information is accessed through www.dealtrax.com, so a personal website isn’t needed. We can provide a link that you can send to registered buyers and sellers so that they can access the information online. We do recommend getting a website. We offer websites that integrate with Dealtrax. Visit www.bbpinc.com for details.

How are fax numbers assigned? Can I use my own fax number? As part of Dealtrax, you will receive a free fax number per user account. Using this fax number will automate the fax receiving process by automatically diverting incoming faxes to the individual broker’s inbox and assigning it to a buyer or seller. If you would prefer to use your company’s existing fax number, you can scan the faxes, upload the faxes to your account, and assign them to the buyer or seller associated with them.

How many brokers can we have using Dealtrax? At this time, the number of brokers using the system is unlimited.

How much space will I have for file storage? Dealtrax clients start with 1Gb of space, and 1Gb for each additional broker assigned to the system. The amount of space is pooled for the entire office.

Can I purchase additional space? Additional space is available for purchase. Please contact us for details.

How do I make my trial account live? At any point during your trial period you will be able to transform your account into a live status. Instructions are presented on the admin tab on the office license log-in. You may also email us at info@dealtrax.com, or call us at 1-800-239-5085.

Who owns the information that is inputted into Dealtrax? Please refer to our Terms of Access and Privacy Policies.

What kind of contract will I need to sign? There is a contract agreement, but no pre-determined length of time associated with it. You can cancel at any time.

What happens to my data if I decide to cancel? The data will exist on our servers for 90 days. During that time frame, you will be responsible for exporting the data for your records. We can provide the data as an excel spreadsheet if requested. At time of cancellation, buyer/seller access and database access will be disconnected.
